Today, in response to last week’s Supreme Court decision striking down the IEEPA tariffs, the White House released an executive order, placing a global baseline 15% tariff on all goods entering the US under section 122.

On October 25, 2025, the US and Vietnam agreed on a new trade agreement, with the United States maintaining at 20 percent the reciprocal tariffs on originating goods of Viet Nam.

On October 26, 2025, the United States and Malaysia agreed on a new tariff structure.

The United States will lower the tariffs on Chinese imports imposed to curb fentanyl flows by removing 10 percentage points of the cumulative rate, effective November 10, 2025, and will maintain its suspension of heightened reciprocal tariffs on Chinese imports until November 10, 2026.  (The current 10% reciprocal tariff will remain in effect during this suspension period.)
